SummerBummer
VayCayToKnowWhere. 2 months and not a single post. It was fun. my sense of everything flew away and I lived in the same Jean cutoffs for two months. i don't feel attached to my closet any more. but with the rain coming and colder days ahead I'm getting excited for my old regular clothing obsessed self and all the fun fashionista crap that comes with it.

VanCityGeneration. Who knew that you could find desirable designer duds for cheap in this town.. well not cheap but you can get them. I stumbled upon a little vintage shop on south Granville the other day. The vintage Chanel jacket in the window pushed me to peak inside. my first glance was to a pair of second hand Christian Louboutins patent leather flats ..previous post. I rummage through all these beautiful things for awhile knowing that the only thing i would be walking out of there with was a knock-off Chanel bag that the two c's where falling off of. but it was still a undeniable beauty that i couldn't leave with out.
The two dresses that caught my eye where both Ports. They where both very feminine and pretty. the Silver one had a 1930 futuristic vibe to it. I had never spotted anything like it before.. second had $165. the off white dress had thin strap and suttle ruffles all over. It was covered in pastel pock a dot that gave the dress a youthful presence. I love this dress basically a steal for $225.

MayLong. Half price everything at the thrift shop!! what could be a better way to end the weekend!! Monday Funday! Monday is the bomb at the thrift shop..always tons of fabulous finds here i am overwhelmed with glamorous treasures in the dressing room! check it out.
some of my finds where a long sleeve floral blouse, A red and blue checker flannel (that was brand new still has a the original tags on it from the eighty's) the floral blouse reminds me of DVF mixed with ninety's feminine business wear. the flannel was so crisp and pretty but i just could bring my self to buy it considering my present collection.

I love this salt and pepper grey crue neck it is a bit cropped and has a over sized pocket on the right side. $5.99. and these raw denim black skinnys are in great shape but still have that distressed denim look about them.

This black knitted cardigan has little roses detailing and is light weight and perfect for summer $3.99. The white sweater i picked put because it was so interesting and over the top, it has blazer like structure and huge sparkly flowers all over it.

AndThePrettyGirlsJustHappenToStopByInTheHood. Two-piece from the sixties. This Gold hippie dress was once apart a two piece gold fringe out-fit. Together they are a bit much but apart they make great individual pieces. the material is black with a gold over lay that has tons of detailed stitching... and fringe....just to keep things classy. I gave the flowing dress shape with a brown woven belt. To finish this hippified look i paired it with my fav moccasins and some sparely golden bangles!!

AndTheChampagneAlwaysColdAndtheMusicAlwaysGood. The other half to this vintage set is a long sleeved top. Its fit is very loose and has alot going on. Pairing it with simple black jeans or leggings keeps the top as the focus and let the golden fringe beauty shine on it own. I wore this the other night.. a guy was like.. I like your top i think my grandmother has the same one. But that shit don't faze me. I love this golden fringed hippie frock. Above I wonted to pair it with something i could wear in th spring. So here it is with blue jean cut-off, bangles and some smashing grey pumps.

ShortayYouTheBest. The sun makes me the happiest person in the world. Spring and Summer are the best season for clothes and fashion. Its so much easier to throe things together and not worry about layers and layers. These floral beauty's are a pair of vintage shorts from Sally-Anne $1.99. Lately i have been really gravitating towards floral items with lots of colour..it always looks freshhh. These shorts have alot of fabric and are sinched in at the waist. They are a very light wight flowy material. To give the look at bit more structure i pair them with a very fitter navy three quarter length top, adding the brown loafers and belt make the out-fit more together ..kind of more city wear...but with a white tank they could be nice and casual.

TheBestIeverhad. I featured these navy silk shorts in a previous post..they have great lace detailing around the bottom and i found then at sally-Anne for $0.99. I have been wanting to pair them with something dress and feminine that is more covered on the top. I found this vintage cream blouse the other day for $2.99. It has billowing selves and tuxedo like tie around the neck. Pairing the blouse and shorts together make it ultra feminine but stops the shorts from looking to "nightie like". Paired with a blazer this spring out-fit would be Fab.

MakeSomeMusicMakeSomeMoney. This golden treasure was from the collection from a family friend. Its From the Sixty's. The Sleeveless beauty is cut high around the neck and cropped shorter in the front, it does up in the back with a zipper. Its amazing quality and heavy. The Zipper detailing up the back makes it versatile. It could be worn fancy on its own or un-zipped as a vest for a more casual look. I pair this sparkling beauty with a pair of menswear black short and black pumps to keep the top as a the main focus.
Beedazzlle. The best beedazlllerrr in the world couldnt do this kind of work. The golden frock has layer on layer of sequins, it almost has a mermaid scale kind of pattern to it and even little gems that hang off it, like little disco balls.
